How LootMax works

LootMax helps you decide what to bring into a raid. Build a loadout, and the calculator estimates how much it earns per run once deaths are counted, so you can compare cheap safe kits against expensive meta kits on equal terms.

Quick start

  1. Pick a starting point. Click a preset (Budget, Balanced, Meta, Max Profit, Loot Hunter) or choose a primary weapon and shield yourself. Those two are the only required slots.
  2. Fill in the rest. Add a secondary weapon, augment, and any consumables, explosives or gadgets you actually carry. The item art next to each picker shows what you selected.
  3. Set risk and coins. Risk comfort shifts the extraction estimate. Your coins is how much you have banked, used to check you can afford to lose the kit a few times.
  4. Analyze. Hit Analyze Loadout. Results appear beside the form on desktop and below it on phones, followed by suggestions for improving the kit.
  5. Save it (optional). Sign in with Google to save up to 5 loadouts and reload them later from the calculator.

Reading your results

Score
A 0.0 to 1.0 rating against a meta reference build, evaluated with the same rules. Half comes from expected profit, 30% from your safety margin (extraction chance minus break-even rate) and 20% from return on kit value. Matching the meta build on profit and return scores about 0.55 before the safety margin is added.
Expected profit / run
What the kit earns on average once deaths are included: extraction chance × (loot − consumables used) − death chance × kit value. A positive number means the kit pays for itself over many runs.
Kit at risk
The sell value of everything you bring, which is what you lose if you die. The smaller number underneath is the part you use up even when you extract (consumables, explosives and single-use gadgets).
Loot on extract
An estimate of the haul you bank when you get out: a baseline for a mixed PvE/PvP raid (40,000 coins), scaled up slightly for stronger primary weapons, which can contest better loot.
Extraction chance
A heuristic between 20% and 95%. It starts from the route danger, then goes up with a stronger shield and more healing, and down when you are heavy for your augment or your shield slows you. Risk comfort adds +5% (ultra-safe) or −7% (high risk).
Break-even rate
How often you must extract for the kit to stop losing money. If your extraction chance is comfortably above it (10 points or more), the tile turns green. "Never" means the consumables cost more than the expected haul.
Kit weight
Total weight of your gear against your augment's carry limit (45 is assumed with no augment). It turns amber above 90% of the limit. Quick-use shows slots used versus slots available.
Budget
"OK" when your coins could re-buy this kit at least 5 times. "Thin" means a short losing streak could wipe you out, so consider a cheaper kit.

The loadout form

Presets
Ready-made kits for common playstyles, each with its own risk comfort. Loading one replaces everything in the form.
Price override
The small number box beside an item. Leave it blank to use the in-game sell value, or type what the item really costs you (for example a cheaper trade or crafting cost).
Augment
Sets your carry weight limit and quick-use, backpack and safe pocket slots, and decides which shields you can equip. A warning appears if the shield is not compatible.
Quick-use items
Consumables, explosives and gadgets. Heals add to your extraction chance; anything that gets used up counts toward the cost of every run, even successful ones.
Risk comfort
How you play. Ultra-safe raises the extraction estimate and assumes a small bank (8,000 coins); High risk lowers it and assumes 60,000. Normal assumes 25,000. You can still type your real coins.

FAQ

Where does the data come from?

Item stats, sell values and trader prices come from MetaForge, ARC drop tables and spawn maps from ARDB, and missing weapon stats from the official Arc Raiders wiki. The site is refreshed from those sources regularly.

Are the numbers exact?

No. Sell values are real game data, but extraction chance and loot on extract are estimates, so treat the results as a way to compare loadouts rather than a promise. Use price overrides when your costs differ.

Why is a new weapon missing?

Weapons are added once their stats are published. Items that are announced but not released yet have no sell value or stats to calculate with.

How do the AI suggestions work?

After an analysis, a small language model downloads and runs entirely in your browser to write extra tips. Nothing about your loadout is sent to a server. It can be slow on the first run; hit Skip to see the built-in suggestions instead.

Do I need an account?

No. Everything works without signing in. Signing in with Google only adds saved loadouts and a recent history.

Is this an official Arc Raiders site?

No. LootMax is a free fan-made tool and is not affiliated with Embark Studios.
